Our Story

A passion for producing one of a kind items from natural resources encouraged our founder, Julia, to start a small business, Peedie Dragon. Working and crafting from her home with a dream of what Peedie Dragon could become and the business began to grow.

At Peedie Dragon, we believe that every farmer deserves to be paid fairly for producing a quality fleece and caring for the welfare of their sheep. Each of our products is intended to be one of a kind. Encouraging the natural colours and textures of the wool to influence the items created and ensure that no two pieces are exactly alike.

Our wool is sourced from within the UK and Orkney Islands. 

Our UK wool is sourced from trusted UK farms while Orkney wool is locally sourced from with in the Orkney Isles. All farmers receive a good price for their raw fleece. 

The Orkney fleece is processed at an Orkney Woollen Mill.
